Hello Dames en Heren (Ladies and Gentlemen). First of all, you're welcome to anyone who ever has to read a public restroom sign with ambiguous pictures in the Netherlands. It's a very specific/ uncommon problem, but better to be prepared right? I guess you could also use Google Translate but come on that is so 2014....Hey you know what's great about this blog thing? I can't actually see all of you getting upset/annoyed with my bad jokes but I know it's happening.....here is a picture of a kitten to make you feel better.

^ His name is Wilson and he is my brother's cat. Contrary to popular belief I do not have multiple cats, because I am not a cat lady. My boyfriend, however, is a cat lady.

So remember that Japanese Garden? It was in a Dutch park. With Dutch shrubs, Dutch birds, and Dutch trees! This post consists mostly of pictures of the trees because my mom (Hi Mom!) really likes pictures of trees. So I took a lot of pictures of trees since I estimate that she accounts for 88% of my readership.....well on the days when she can figure out how to get to the blog page....

That is actually a pond that the tree is leaning into- with A LOT of algae on top. Silly tree. Trees can't swim.
I threw an acorn into this pond to see if it could break through the algae on top. For science. It did not break the surface. Because science?
Thanks for reading Mom. Hope you liked the trees! Everyone who is reading this and is not my Mom, don't worry you MIGHT be almost as awesome as her some day.
