London Part One: the Londoning

Hey there Internet. What a nice hair day you are having today. Thanks for deciding to come back after all the bad jokes and pumpkin flavored stuff I've subjected you to. Here are some flowers to make it up to you.

Anyway, a little over a month ago, I went to London for a long weekend to see my two fabulous friends, Cat and Denise. I also made a fabulous new friend in Cat's boyfriend, Richard (he baked cupcakes for my visit so basically it was friendship at first sight). Since I am a procrastinator extraordinaire, I have not put any of the pictures up from my alleged trip to London. But you know what they say- pics or it didn't happen (or as they say in Chinese- no picture, no truth).

So that definitely happened....Anyway, even though I was only in London for three days I saw some really neat stuff and took WAY too many pictures of things. My first day, Cat managed to find me in the super busy Victoria Coach Station, even though I had helpfully just discovered that my Dutch phone did not work in the UK.....But luckily she found me and we went back to her neighborhood, Canary Wharf.

Back at her place, I met the incomparable cupcake baker, Richard. Then we went out for some drinks and some English food.

The next day, I managed to take the London subway ("The Tube") ALL BY MYSELF.

But where did I go? Stay tuned to find out.....
